IBM Counteracuses SCO in GPL Violation
Computer giant IBM counteraccused SCO in violation of its intellectual property rights. The reason for the accusation is that SCO has violated the GPL (General Public License) rules when using IBM’s copyright. IBM is currently gathering evidence against SCO.
The lawsuit will decide whether SCO has acted in disregard of the GPL rules by revealing the IBM LINUX password. IBM holds that SCO has obviously not abided by the relevant rules, thereby infringing on its intellectual property rights.
